Overview
Á Deriva is a first-of-its-kind multidisciplinary festival exploring the intersection of architecture, design, and the arts through the lens of “dérive”—the radical practice of drifting introduced by Guy Debord in 1956. By inviting creatives, academics, and the public to reimagine their environments through movement and perception, the festival turns the city into a living canvas for exploration. Rooted in psychogeography, Á Deriva challenges the boundaries between place, identity, and design. Every moment—whether a walk, a workshop, or an installation—is a form of research and expression. The festival embodies openness and inclusivity, offering a platform where community engagement, critical thinking, and creative experimentation converge. It’s not just about experiencing a place—it’s about understanding how places shape us.
