Overview
We created SOROS Connect as a fluid design system that turns the brand promise of "commerce beyond boundaries" into practical rules and reusable components, letting strategy design and engineering speak one language at speed while always sounding unmistakably SOROS. A vibrant violet palette with near white and deep black lives as semantic tokens. More than sixty ready made components including wallet flows price inputs and trust badges come with dark mode support, full accessibility, and a flexible twelve column grid. This lets teams build faster learn quicker and launch new features that stay innovative trustworthy, empowering dynamic and global with every pixel on brand.

Following the successful completion of the brand identity, the SOROS team brought us back to envision and design the public beta experience, translating the brand into a digital platform that embodies the future of commerce.

Together with the brand team our digital design team began by reviewing every insight and asset gathered during brand discovery and production.

In our initial UX, we stripped the sign up flow to its essentials, surfaced social logins for speed, and introduced a single unobtrusive progress indicator.

We studied how existing platforms presented cryptocurrency, noting the common pitfalls of cluttered interfaces and confusing navigation. Our goal was to create a clean, approachable design that would feel inviting, even to those new to crypto.

Headings sit on baseline-aligned text rows, action buttons trace the same keylines, and icons maintain equal optical weight through a common bounding box.

This structural discipline eliminates visual drift, speeds development because components inherit predictable spacing tokens, and makes future editing straightforward.

Every component from buttons to data charts lives in a shared library that pairs live code examples with Figma specs, usage guidance, and accessibility checkpoints. The design system we created, SOROS Connect, shows anatomy notes, sizing tokens, and ready made snippets so any teammate can drop the component straight into production with full confidence.

Avatars are one example of a component used throughout the SOROS application. We create states and sizes for different variations.

Buttons are another example of a component continuously used throughout the SOROS Connect design system.

We used Figma to build high-fidelity prototypes, which allowed us to simulate the user experience and refine the app’s interactions in real time. Prototyping in Figma enabled us to quickly test user flows, adjust layouts, and ensure that each feature felt intuitive and seamless.

We translated our FIgma designs into high fidelity mockups that bring the vision to life.

During development, our biggest challenge was weaving a smooth crypto payment flow into the many moving parts of a modern e-commerce checkout.

While shaping the product page we focused on giving shoppers a clear path to every essential detail so they can grasp the full details of the item at a glance. Our goal was to elevate the user experience while staying true to the brand and giving the interface a clean modern feel.

Finally, we packed up all the features to be marketed in an a motion-optimized landing page.
